Peggy Warren: Tack Maker at Broken Arrow Stable
HI, Glad you came Broken Arrow! I was a Licensed Trainer and Provisional Driver of Standardbred race horses from a young teenager up until I was married and had a son who was starting school. Not wanting to do the traveling thing and displacing him into one school after another I came to Florida and stopped working with the horses. I worked in a factory for a short time, then learned to groom dogs. I now have a grooming shop of my own that takes up much of my time. In the past couple years have taken up a Breyer (now Stone also!) collection and am having a ball making miniature tack. This hobby has given me the opportunity to express my limited knowledge of horses and learn so much more from the experienced hobbiests! Thanks for looking at my website and please stop in often. Hope to see and meet you at the shows!!!

The Wood Man
Brian is the wood man! He has built and designed Remote Control airplanes most of his life. I recruited him to make carts for the horses knowing how much detail he would put into it. He strives to do his work as close to the real mccoy as possible. With limited time he has done an outstanding job on them!
Brian designs his own jigs and prefabricates each piece of the carts. They are made of basswood mostly, laminated for strength and shaped by hand. He then puts them into a cycle of sanding then sealing sometimes 4 - 6 coats to get that smooth satin finish. Its a long process, but well worth the wait when you see the finished product!!
He has some new designs coming soon, when they are ready for the website the pics will be on our whats new page. Hope you come back and check with us often to see Whats New.
